Does losing by 27 count as a THUMPING?!

I spent the evening at Deb and Doyle's where I get a spotty cell phone signal at best. On my way home, I received a text message letting me know the results of the Orioles game. (Yes, I am STILL an Orioles fan, but that's another post completely.) I thought I read the message wrong - after all, I was driving - but the Orioles actually lost by the final score of 30-3. Yes, that was 30. 30 runs! As soon as I got home (thankfully, the drive was all of 2.8 miles), I checked the internet to see if the text message was correct. All I can say is...UGH!

OK...so they haven't been frequent...

Well, one of my fears (very small fears) has come true...My musings have been infrequent. I'll try to catch up tonight...

I was reminded today that there are too many people where I work who just simply refuse to proofread. There was another Pure BREAD puppy for sale and another sign had the word TAKEING on it. I just don't know - am I too critical??

Rumors. What was that cheesy song from the 80's about rumors? I actually heard it on the radio today. Well, the rumor mill at work is in high gear. Will this group be sold, will that group be sold/dumped, will the whole place be shut down? Who knows. The latest is that the announcement (whatever it is) will come Thursday. So, as of Thursday I might have a job or I might not.

Such gloom and doom for a blog that is supposed to be upbeat! On that note, I'm going to sleep now. Maybe I'll dream up the perfect Plan B...
