Bunny and Elephant and Bunny, Oh My!

OK, I paraphrased that famous movie with the ruby slippers. I couldn't think of anything else to describe the menagerie below. I spent the entire Thanksgiving weekend knitting the bunny on the left and the elephant (the one in the middle in case the long, crooked, trunk didn't give it away). The bunny on the right was completed a couple of weeks ago.

One if these bunnies is for my nephew for Christmas. The other bunny and the elephant are for the twin girls of a co-worker. Now I have to figure out what to knit next. Suggestions?

Here is a close-up of the newest bunny and the elephant

She's a cute bunny. From the back, she looks like Piglet. Well, except for the little white puff tail. Before the tail, she looked like Piglet.

Boy did my hands hurt on Friday! I knit half of the elephant on Thursday in between Thanksgiving meals (we ate twice). I finished all of the elephant pieces on Friday and put it all together on Saturday. The bunny got stuffed on Sunday and the faces were applied then.

Well, I guess it's time for a little pattern hunting. Wish me luck!

I have blog envy

I have been living vicariously through other blogs lately. Actually, other bloggers keep stealing my ideas. Maybe we are thinking the same thing at the same time and they just beat me to the punch. What is it they say about timing being everything?

So, I am sitting here typing this and Moose apparently wants my attention. Here's what she did.

She did this the other day and I wasn't able to snap a picture. I'm glad she doesn't give up easily (refer to my OCD Dog post for a refresher).
Back to the original post. Today I discovered the Passive Aggressive Notes blog. I was almost in tears when I read this one. I found this blog from the Apostrophe Abuse blog. I found that one from the The “Blog” of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks. Another good one is Literally, A Web Log. There are others that I haven't had a chance to check out some of the others which are linked on the Passive Aggressive Notes blog.
Oh, I can't forget...Anyone over the age of 35 should check out this one. Deb says Johnny Virgil is her new best friend, but I know she didn't really mean it.
I have to mention Abby's latest post as well. That one made me laugh too! In fact, I have Abby's, Roxie's, and Deb's blogs saved as favorites. (Boy, I sure hope I used the apostrophies properly.)
